RIM Polyurethane Systems Formulations offer variable flexural modulus, selectable density, thermal insulation, choice of tensile strength and more. RIM is a method where two components mix, react, and then harden in the mold. There are RIM molding systems in which the reactants are fiber-filled (Reinforced RIM), or composited with mats of fiberglass. These techniques can create a plethora of materials with properties that run the gamut from flexible to solid.RIM molding
